Indian border troops kill Bangladeshi along frontier

Dinajpur, Bangladesh (BBN)-Indian Border Security Force (BSF) gunned down a Bangladeshi farmer and injured another in Dinajpur, a northern district of Bangladesh, Monday.
Witnesses said the BSF troops opened fire without any provocation while the Bangladeshi nationals were working in their paddy field along Birampur border in Dinajpur around 10:00am.
One of the victims died on the spot while another sustained bullet wounds, they added.
Locals managed to rescue the wounded immediately after the incident and sent him to local hospital.
Local commander of Bangladesh Border Guard (BGB), border troops of Bangladesh, sent a letter protesting the killing, BGB sources said.
