Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Indian Foreign Secretary (FS) Subramanyam Jaishankar will arrive in the capital Dhaka on February 23 to discuss Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s visit to India.
Dr. Jaishankar visit at the invitation of his counterpart Md Shahidul Haque, a foreign ministry announcement said in Dhaka on Wednesday.
“The two foreign secretaries will review areas of bilateral cooperation between the neighbouring countries,” it added.
They are also expected to discuss the proposed visit of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh to India, according to the announcement.
During the visit, the Indian foreign secretary will call on the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Bangladesh.
He will leave the capital Dhaka in the morning of 24 February, it noted.
