Indian Rupee gains 14 paise against US dollar

Mumbai, India (BBN)-Indian rupee recovered 14 paise to 66.40 against the dollar in early trade on Monday at the Interbank Foreign Exchange on fresh selling of the US currency by exporters and banks amid positive economic data.
On Friday, the rupee lost 11 paise at 66.54 against the US dollar on sustained demand for the American currency from banks and importers, reports the PTI.
Meanwhile, the benchmark BSE Sensex rose 96.66 points, or 0.38 per cent, to 25,706.87 in early trade.
