Last updated: November 17, 2015

Mumbai, India (BBN)-Indian rupee advanced by 10 paise to 65.90 against the US dollar in early trade on Tuesday on sustained selling of the American currency by exporters and banks.
Forex dealers said a strong opening in domestic equity markets supported the rupee, but dollar’s strength against other currencies overseas capped gains, reports the PTI.
The rupee had been firming up by 10 paise to 66 against the dollar in Monday’s trade on fag-end selling of the American currency by banks and exporters on the back of lower greenback in the overseas market.
Meanwhile, the benchmark BSE Sensex rose by 156.91 points or 0.60 per cent to 25,917.01 in early trade.
