India’s Security Adviser Menon arrives in Bangladesh Sunday

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - Indian National Security Adviser Shiv Shankar Menon arrives in the capital on Sunday to discuss with high government officials the agenda of the summit meeting to be held upon Manmohan Singh's arrival in Dhaka on September 6.

The Indian prime minister, who will be coming on a two-day official visit, will hold a summit meeting with Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina on the first day of his trip. Later he will also sign several deals.

Mr. Menon will arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport by a special flight around noon and will fly back to New Delhi in the evening, The Daily Star, a local newspaper, reported quoting diplomatic sources.

His few hours in Dhaka will be crammed with a series of meetings with the prime minister, her advisers and some ministers, the newspaper said.
