Rangpur, Bangladesh (BBN)- A month-long 'Rangpur Industry and Trade Fair (RITF)- 2015' will begin from Monday at Police Lines Ground in the country’s northern city.
The fair is being arranged to promote industrialization and enhance production of quality goods by local entrepreneurs, flourishing industries and exhibition of produced goods for expanding business, trade and commerce.
Divisional Commissioner Muhammad Dilwar Bakht will formally inaugurate the fair, organised by the Rangpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), as the chief guest at a ceremony.
With President of RCCI Mostafa Sohrab Chowdhury Titu in the chair, acting Deputy Inspector General for Rangpur Range of Bangladesh Police Humayun Kabir will attend the inaugural ceremony as the special guest.
Members of RCCI executive committee, its directors, officials, former executive committee members, leaders of Rangpur Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry, businesspersons, bankers, civil society members, journalists and elite will be present.
A large number of stalls will be set up in the fair by the private sector entrepreneurs, industries, bodies and organisations from all over the country.
