ISESCO director general calls on Bangladesh’s foreign minister

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, Director General (DG) of Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organizational (ISESCO) called on the Foreign Minister Dr. Dipu Moni, MP on Saturday at the State Guest House Padma in Dhaka.
The DG of ISESCO congratulate Bangladesh for selection Dhaka as the  capital of Islamic Culture of the Asia region for 2012 and he said that Dhaka deserve this. 
Foreign Minister Dipu Moni thanked him for choosing Dhaka. She praised that ISESCO for using ICT as strategy to bridge the digital divide among Muslim world. 
She also said Bangladesh has keen interest in ICT as part of vision 2012 for achieving digital Bangladesh.
The DG of ISESCO said about the necessity of unity among Muslim countries for development. 
The foreign minister requested ISESCO to draw up a database of existing capacity in the Muslim Countries with regard to academic, cultural and training centers and to promote optimum access and use of this capacity by the members of ISESCO.
