Beirut, Lebanon (BBN)-In another despicable revelation, the extremist group ISIS is said to be publishing pamphlets with price list for captured women and kids who are sold to fighters and affluent Middle Easterners.

According to a report in The Bloomberg, a UN envoy named Zainab Bangura claimed having seen a copy of the ISIS price list in April on an Iraq trip, that showed for how much the extremists sell captured women and kids, reports Zee News.

Zainab revealed that the kids as young as one-year-old, fetch the highest price, while girls over 20 are sold for lesser price.

The barbaric jihadist group has pegged the prices for boys and girls aged 1 to 9 are equal to about $165 in Iraqi dinars, while adolescent girls are worth $124 each, Bangura said.

Bangura, who is the UN special envoy on sexual violence in conflict, has ascertained the veracity of the pamphlets which were definitely circulated by the ISIS and show real transactions.

“The girls get peddled like barrels of petrol…One girl can be sold and bought by five or six different men. Sometimes these fighters sell the girls back to their families for thousands of dollars of ransom,” the Bloomberg quoted the UN envoy as saying.

She added that the group’s fighters were the first one to choose from among the captured women and kids, after which the wealthy Middle Easterners are allowed to bid. The bidding amount reaches to the tunes of thousands of dollars.

It’s not the first time that ISIS is in news for such heinous acts against women and kids.

The group is already notorious for having committed indescribable acts on its captives, women and kids in particular who are sold as sex slaves.

In November last year, a video was released which showed a normal day at ISIS ‘sex slave market’ where fighters could choose from among various Yazidi girls, priced differently as per their features.

The video showed the barbaric fighters bargaining for woman slaves, explaining how the prices vary according to the girls’ physical details; for instance – the colour of her eyes.

According to the video, tweeted by an Arabic TV reporter with Twitter handle @ jenanmoussa, the ISIS fighters on their so-called “slave market day” also called the “distribution day”, got to buy or sell their women slaves.
