Islami bank donates blankets to PM relief fund

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) provided 25 thousand pieces of blankets to the Prime Minister's Relief and Welfare Fund for the cold-affected people.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina received the blankets from Engr Mustafa Anwar, the chairman of the bank; and Prof Syed Ahsanul Alam, the Executive Committee chairman of the bank; at the PMO on Thursday.
Salman F Rahman, Private Sector Development Affairs adviser to the Prime Minister; Dr.Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury, principal secretary of the Prime Minister`s Office, Md Nazrul Islam Majumder, the chairman of Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB); and Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed, the chairman of Standard Bank; were present at the time.
Earlier, Islami Bank donated 2 lakh pieces of blankets to the same fund.
