Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) presented 20 computers to the Dhaka University.
As a part of the Corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities of the bank, it provided the computer to the Department of Management, said a press statement of the bank on Tuesday.
Mohammad Abdul Mannan, the managing director & CEO of the bank, handed over the computers to Prof Ali Akkas, the chairman of the department during a ceremony.
The ceremony was held at seminar room of the department.
Among others Prof Shibli Rubayat Ul Islam, dean of the Faculty of Business Studies, Prof Dr Md Serazul Islam, Prof Dr Md Ataur Rahman, Helal Ahmed Chowdhury, the chairman of Audit Committee of Islami Bank, Md Mosharraf Hossain, executive vice president & head of Development Wing and AHM Latif Uddin Chowdhury, head of CSRD of the bank attended the ceremony.
