Islami Insurance approves 20 percent stock dividend

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The 11th annual general meeting (AGM) of Islami Insurance Bangladesh Limited has approved 20 per cent stock dividend for the year that ended on December 31 last.

The AGM was held in the city recently. Chairman of the company Tofazzal Hossain presided over the meeting, a press statement said.

Mr Hossain told the meeting that during the year 2010 the company earned premium of BDT 268.60 million and total asset of the company stood at BDT 418.80 million.
