Islamic Finance approves 16 percent stock dividend

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The eighth annual general meeting (AGM) of Islamic Finance and Investment Limited has approved 16 per cent stock dividend for the year that ended on December 31, 2008.

The AGM was held in the capital, Dhaka on Thursday. Chairman of the company SM Bakhtiar Alam presided over the meeting, the company said.

The financial statements of the year that ended on December 31, 2008 was placed before the meeting and was passed.
