Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Dean elections to four out of six faculties of Jahangirnagar University will be held on Tuesday, with were about 463 teachers are expected to cast their votes.
The voting will take place at Teachers club in the campus from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm.
Eight candidates from two opposing panels Samonnito Shikkhak Parishad and Bangabandhur Adorsho O Muktijuddher Chetonay Biswashi Shikkhak Samaj will contest in the polls.
Earlier, the dean election was scheduled on August 2, but postponed following the unrest in the campus since August 1.
