Jahangirnagar University signs deal with JICA, Grameen Shakti

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The authorities of Jahangirnagar University (JU) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Thursday with Japan International Cooperative Agency (JICA) and Grameen Shakti to manage waste of the campus properly.

JU treasurer Professor Nasir Uddin, JICA representative Kashimuri and Absar Kamal of Grameen Shakti signed the MoU at the JU council room of the administrative building.

The JU, in collaboration with these two organizations will collect the wastes of the campus and produce biogas.
