Japan to help Bangladesh to establish environment training centre

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Japan will provide assistance to establish an Environment Training Centre in Bangladesh.

The assurance came when State Minister for Environment and Forest Hasan Mahmud called on Hikaru Kubayashi, Environment Affairs Vice-Minister of Japan, on the sidelines of 6th Ministerial
Conference of Environment and Development in Asia and the Pacific held at Kazakhstan.

Hikaru appreciated the initiatives taken by Bangladesh to face the climate change during the meeting, a press statement said.

Later, Hasan Mahmud called on Kazakh Deputy Minister for Environment Eldana Sadvakkassova.

They discussed on working work together to face the risks of climate change.
