Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Professor Atsuko Miuaji of Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST), Japan called on Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor (VC) Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique at the latter’s office on Sunday.
Dean of Faculty of Engineering and Technology Professor Rezaul Karim Mazumder and Professor Hasanuzzaman of Computer Science and Engineering department were present on this occasion.
They discussed the matters of mutual interest especially ongoing collaborative programs between DU and JAIST, a DU press statement said.
They also discussed about cyber crimes, cyber security, cyber laws and other IT related topics while DU VC expressed his willingness to work together with JAIST on these issues.
