Jet Airways and Eastern Bank launch credit card in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-Jet Airways has partnered with Eastern Bank to launch Bangladesh’s first airline co-branded credit card.
Members of the Jet Airways EBL Platinum Visa credit card are automatically enrolled into the carrier's Jet Privilege loyalty programme, reports the Business Traveller.
Cardholders can then earn JP Miles on their credit card spending, at a rate of three miles for every BDT 200 (US$2.50) spent on domestic transactions, and two miles for every US$1 spent on international transactions.
Members will also earn 2,500 miles after their first use of the card within 40 days of activiation, and up to 5,000 miles for completing a series of spending requirements.
Other benefits of the card include a five per cent discount on base fares booked at jetairways.com/bd and orginating from Bangladesh, and priority check-in for Jet Airways flights departing from Bangladesh.
Commenting on the new card Manish Dureja, Managing Director, JetPrivilege said:
