Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-A six-day combined exercise between Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) and US Pacific Air Force began in three northern districts of Bangladesh Sunday.
Under the exercise titled "Exercise Pacific Angel-2014-1", the members of BAF and US Pacific Air Force will provide medical treatment along with medical knowledge to the people of Saidpur, Rangpur and Dinajpur.
The engineers from the combined force will provide assistance in renovation and repairing of damage and weak structures of selected schools, an ISPR press release said.
Earlier, a special advance team from BAF and US Force visited various places in March this year for selecting suitable site to make the exercise successful and fruitful.
A total of 65 members of US Pacific Air Force have arrived in Bangladesh on May 28 to participate in the exercise.
Bangladesh Army, Sri Lanka Air Force, Indian Air Force including different government and non- government organisations will also participate in the exercise.
