Los Angeles, US (BBN)-If you are a fan of the show Game of Thrones, don’t venture any further.
Turn back right now, because the moment which “Game of Thrones” fans have been waiting for with bated breath has arrived, reports the IANS.
Jon Snow was brutally murdered on the last season of the HBO fantasy series, leaving viewers on cliffhanger.
Left to wonder about the fate of their favourite character, many had taken to speculating what would happen in the new season.
Is he actually dead? Will he be resurrected?
Actor Kit Harington, who plays the character, also added fuel to the fire by maintaining that Jon Snow was dead. But he also ended up on pictures taken at the set, fuelling further speculation about his life-or-death status.
But now, after episode two of the sixth season, fans are finally at peace.
Read on if you want to know what happened.
Snow was resurrected by Melisandre, a revelation that caps 10 months of worldwide speculation following Snow’s death at the hands of his Night’s Watch brothers in last year’s finale.
Actor Kit Harington, who essays Snow on Game of Thrones, apologised for “lying” to his fans who had hoped for his resurrection, reports ew.com.
“I’d like to say sorry for lying to everyone. I’m glad that people were upset that he died. I think my biggest fear was that people were not going to care. Or it would just be, ‘Fine, Jon Snow’s dead,” Harington said.
“But it seems like people had a, similar to the Red Wedding episode, kind of grief about it. Which means something I’m doing- or the show is doing- is right,” he added.
The second episode of the sixth season of Game of Thrones titled Home will air on Tuesday in India on Star World Premiere HD.
