Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– KM Khaled has been elected as the President of the Canada Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CanCham) for 2012-2013 period.
This was announced at the CanCham annual general meeting (AGM) held at Dhaka Club Ltd recently, a press statement said.
Mr. Khaled is the chairman of M/S Getco Limited. He was also former Vice-President of CanCham for the term of 2010-2011.
The other office bearers are Vice-president Zulfiquar Rahman, Treasurer Syed Mastafizur Rahman, and directors Saiful Islam, M Junaed Ibna Ali, Ali Bakhtiar Mahmood, MA Salam, Mustafa Rafiqul Islam and Mostafa Quamrus Sobhan.
The 7th AGM of CanCham briefly described the road map of Canada-Bangladesh trade relations for the next two years and highlighted different activities of CanCham in promoting inter-trade between the two countries.
