Korean company to set up leather industries in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- A Korean company will set up a Leather Products Manufacturing Industries at Adamjee Export Processing Zone.

The company named M/s. Bunsei Co. Limited will invest US$1.09 million in setting up their unit and will produce garments items which will also create employment opportunity for 215 Bangladeshi nationals, officials said.

Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) on Sunday signed an agreement with the company in this regard in Dhaka.

Moyjuddin Ahmed, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA and Heon Keun Yoo, Managing Director of M/s. Bumsei Co. Limited signed the deal on behalf of their respective organizations.
