Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Kuwait has expressed its strong willingness to expand investment, trade and business with Bangladesh.
The interest was shown when a nine member delegation of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation let by its Managing Director of Abdul Latif Al-Houti met Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her office in the capital Dhaka on Sunday.
Press secretary to the Prime Minister Abul Kalam Azad while briefing the newsmen said, during the meeting the Prime Minister sought oil assistance from Kuwait.
Sheikh Hasina said Bangladesh wants to strengthen OIC as well as the Muslim Ummah.
Ambassador at Large M Ziauddin, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister M A Karim, Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office Molla Waheeduzzaman, Energy Secretary Mejbahuddin and Press Secretary to the Prime Minister Abul Kalam Azad were present on the occasion.
