Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-Lafarge Surma Cement has placed in ‘A’ category from existing ‘Z’ category with effect from Tuesday as the company has reported disbursement of total 10 percent cash dividend for the year ended on December 31 in 2014.
“Due to change of category from  ’Z’  to   ‘A’, trading of the shares of the company will be allowed in the Public Market instead of Spot Market with effect from June 23, 2015,” said a statement posted on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) website on Tuesday.
Trading of the shares of the company will be allowed in the Spot Market and Block transactions will also be settled as per spot settlement cycle with cum benefit from 29.06.15 to 30.06.15, said the statement.
Trading of the shares of the company will remain suspended on record date 02.07.15 for entitlement of interim dividend for the year ending 2015, the statement said.
