Lafarge Surma, United Finance declare dividend

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-Two more listed companies – Lafarge Surma Cement and United Finance Ltd – have declared dividend for the year ended on December 31, said separate web post on Dhaka Stock Exchange on Sunday.
Lafarge Surma: The board of directors of Lafarge Surma Cement has recommended 5.0 percent final cash dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2014.
The multinational cement company’s total 10 percent cash dividend for the year 2014 include 5.0 percent interim cash dividend which has already been paid.
The final approval of the dividend will come during annual general meeting scheduled to be held on June 11 at Mohakhali in Dhaka. The record date of the company is April 7.
The company has also reported consolidated income of BDT 2,819.80 million, consolidated EPS of BDT 2.43, consolidated NAV per share of BDT 11.41 and consolidated NOCFPS of BDT 3.07 for the year ended on December 31, 2014.
United Finance: The board of directors has recommended 5.0 percent cash dividend and 10 percent stock dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2014.
The AGM of the company will be held on April 23 at Eskaton Garden Road in Dhaka.
The record date of the company is March 18.
The company has also reported net profit after tax of BDT 323.79 million, EPS of BDT 2.31, NAV per share of BDT 17.29 and NOCFPS of BDT 6.15 for the year ended on December 31, 2014.
There will be no price limit on the trading of the shares of these two companies today (Sunday) following their corporate declarations.
