Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The main opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will include Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) in the four-party alliance within this month.

The decision came at a meeting between BNP and LDP leaders at the BNP chairperson’s Gulshan office in the capital Dhaka on Sunday night. BNP Chief Khaleda Zia and LDP Chairman Col (retd) Oli Ahmed were present there.

The chairperson will make an announcement about the expansion of the four-party alliance after the Victory Day, BNP Acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, adding that the decision will be finalized at meetings of the party’s standing committee and the four-party alliance.
