Lightning kills four in Netrakona

Netrakona, Bangladesh (BBN) – Four people were killed by lightning in Atpara, Mohanganj and Khaliajury upazilas under Netrakona district on Wednesday night.

The victims were identified as Meherunnesa 14, a student of class eight of Atpara Upazila Girls’ High School, Judge Mia, 35, of village Monsurpur under the same upazila, Kawsar, 22, of village Atmha under Mohanganj upazila and Shwayesta Mia, 35, of village Mendipur under Khaliajury upazila, police and local people confirmed.
