Lindex CEO assures continuing sourcing from Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-  Lindex, one of the leading fashion chains in Europe with over 480 stores, has highly appreciated the quality of Bangladesh’s apparel products and assured of continuing sourcing from the South Asian country.
 
Lindex Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ingvar Larsson said this during a meeting with Bangladesh Ambassador in Sweden M Golam Sarwar held there on Thursday, said an official release of the Embassy.
 
Both the envoy and Larsson agreed to work in partnership to overcome the challenges of Bangladesh’s RMG sector for its better growth.
 
Ambassador Sarwar briefed the Lindex CEO about the steps taken so far for sustainable development of the crucial sector.
 
He said the government is working together with all stakeholders including brands, buyers to overcome the challenges and help reach the sector to a stronger position.
 
The envoy said a visible has been made to that end and Bangladesh gained buyers confidence.
 
Lindex has 480 stores in the Nordic countries, the Baltic States, Russia, Central Europe and the Middle East.
