Chittagong, Bangladesh (BBN)- President of Bangladesh Business Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg (BBCCL) Roy Suhash called on the board of directors of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the CCCI office at its World Trade Centre building on Saturday.
Mr Suhash said that new avenues of trade and investment will open up between Bangladesh and Luxembourg.
He said that Bangladesh origin products enter Luxembourg via Belgium which increases the prices of goods. “There is ample opportunity of market development as well as image development of Bangladesh by setting up hub point of these products in Luxembourg. He invited CCCI delegation to attend trade fair in Luxembourg to be held in April-May 2013.
Welcoming the BBCCL president, CCCI President Murshed Murad Ibrahim said that Luxembourg is a small but highly developed country in Europe. He laid emphasis on identifying specific sector and working on joint collaboration in order to establish bilateral economic relation.
The CCCI president wanted appointment of Honourary Consul of Luxemburg in Chittagong for enhancing bilateral relation as well. 
Bishwajit Roy, Bangladesh coordinator of BBCCL called for specific proposal in order to attract investment from Luxembourg in the prospective sectors of Bangladesh.
