Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Majedur Rahman has recently joined Premier Bank Limited as its managing director (MD). Prior to joining Premier Bank he was engaged as the additional managing director of AB Bank Limited.
Mr. Rahman started his banking career as a management trainee with Grindlays Bank in 1981. He has work experience in banking at home and abroad.
Majedur Rahman was posted at Grindlays Bank Group Audit in London in 1985. He served the bank in various capacities in Bangladesh, UAE, Australia and India. He has also worked in Mashreq Bank in Dubai, a press statement said.
Mr. Rahman attended special programs on risk management, strategic planning, business process reengineering, job evaluation and pay systems, environmental concerns in financing at premier institutions like London Business School, FMO Netherlands, Executive Development International, UK etc.
