Maksons Spinning Mills announces 25 percent stock dividend

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The 22nd meeting of the board of directors of Maksons Spinning Mills Limited was held at its corporate office in Dhaka on Thursday.

The board of directors expressed their satisfaction on the company’s performance and unanimously recommended 25 per cent stock dividend (125 bonus shares for every 500 shares) for the Financial Year that ended on September 30, 2010′ to the shareholders of the company.

The meeting was chaired by its Chairman Abdul Ali in presence of Managing Director Mohammad Ali Khokon and other directors of the board.

The meeting also decided that the 6th annual general meeting (AGM) of the company will be held on December 27, 2010 at 10:30 am at Spectra Convention Centre in Dhaka.

The record date for the AGM will be November 11, 2010.
