Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (BBN)-Trading in shares in Malaysia Airlines has been suspended on the request of state investment firm Khazanah Nasional, its biggest shareholder.
The suspension is “in relation to a material corporate exercise involving the company”, the stock exchange said, reports BBC.
The airline has been hurt by two major tragedies – the crash of flight MH17 in Ukraine and disappearance of flight MH370 – in recent months.
There has been growing speculation that Khazanah may look to delist the firm.
