Maldivian to start Dhaka-Male direct flights from Nov 15

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - The national flag carrier of Maldives 'Maldivian' is set to start its flight operation on Dhaka-Chennai-Male route from November 15 to strengthen connectivity for the development of business and tourism of both the countries.
Initially three flights a week will be operated on this route on Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday. Maldivian will use its A-320 airbus with a capacity of 152 passengers for this route. 
A press conference in this connection was held at a city hotel on Saturday. 
The fare for the economy class for Dhaka-Chennai route will be BDT 25, 177 while it will be BDT 45,436 for Dhaka-Chennai-Male route. The fare for the premium economy class for Dhaka-Chennai route will be BDT 26,895, Dhaka-Chennai-Male BDT 50,829 and business class fare for Dhaka-Chennai will be BDT 75,853 and Dhaka-Chennai-Male BDT 76,043.
Maldivian has appointed Air Galaxy Ltd as its General Sales Agent (GSA) in Bangladesh.
