Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – M/s Maxinox Limited, a local company, will set up a Stainless Steel Crockery manufacturing factory in Mongla Export Processing Zone (EPZ).
In this connection, an agreement was signed between Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) and M/s Maxinox Limited in the city on Wednesday, officials said.
Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA Sayed Nurul Islam and Chairman of M/s Maxinox Ghulam Mohammed signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
This locally-owned company will invest US$1.443 million in setting up the plant with annual production capacity of 1,900 tonnes of different types of stainless/magnetic steel crockery and kitchen appliances. 
The company will also create employment opportunity for 107 Bangladeshi nationals.
Among others, Executive Chairman of BEPZA Major General KM Mominur Rahman, Member (Finance) AKM Mahbubur Rahman were present at the deal signing ceremony.
