Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The board of directors of Meghna Cement has recommended 10 percent stock dividend for the year ended on June 30, 2018, said an official disclosure on Thursday.

The date of annual general meeting (AGM) and extraordinary general meeting (EGM) will be held on October 31 at 10:00am and 11:00am respectively in Dhaka.

The record date for AGM and EGM is on October 04, 2018.

The company has also reported earnings per share (EPS) of BDT 3.62, net asset value (NAV) per share of BDT 38.33 and net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) of minus BDT 3.33 for the year ended on June 30, 2018 as against BDT 2.91, BDT 36.71 and BDT 34.38 respectively for the same period of the previous year.

The company disbursed 20 percent cash dividend for the year ended on June 30, 2017.

There will be no price limit on the trading of the shares of the company today following its corporate declaration.

Each share of the company, which was listed on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) in 1995, closed at BDT 104.30 on Wednesday at DSE.

The company’s paid-up capital is BDT 222 million and authorised capital is BDT 5.0 billion, while the total number of securities is 22.50 million.

The sponsor-directors own 49.81 percent stake in the company while the general public 50.19 percent as on July 31, 2018, the DSE data shows.
