Mercury hits new high in Dhaka

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-The temperature hit a record high of the year in Dhaka city on Wednesday with mercury raising 39.4° degrees Celsius.

The record temperature hit the capital city when the country people have been experiencing heat wave for last few days.

Meanwhile, the hospitals especially the of International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh (ICDDR,B) are crammed with patients of diarrhea, dehydration and other diseases related to extreme heat.
