MobiCash sells Bangladesh-Pakistan match tickets

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Tickets for the upcoming Bangladesh-Pakistan Twenty20, ODI and Test series can be purchased through Grameenphone’s (GP) MobiCash system.

After registering to MobiCash, customers will have to book their ticket for their preferred match and once booked they will have to purchase their ticket within 30 minutes from any Grameenphone center or any BillPay marked outlet and collect the paper ticket by 7:00 pm on the eve of the match.

But Bangladesh Cricket Board has said that the tickets for the first Twenty20 allocated sale through GP have been sold-out.

“Fifty per cent of the tickets have been sold out. The other fifty per cent have been reserved and will be sold on the day of the match in the Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium (near the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur),” said Quazi Ainul Islam who is in the board’s ticket and seating committee, was quoted by The Daily Star, a local newspaper, as saying.
