Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The government is planning to arrange more cargo planes to transport shrimp fries from Cox's Bazar to Khulna.
Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Lt Col (retd) Faruk Khan said this while exchanging views with Cox's Bazar Shrimp Hatchery Association (CSHA) leaders Friday night in Cox's Bazar, an official handout said.
Secretary General of the association Rois Uddin and hatchery owners Humayun Kabir and Jishan Uddin were, among others, present on the occasion.
During the meeting, the hatchery owners informed the minister that as many as five 50 million shrimp fries are being sent to Khulna, Satkhira and Bagerhat from Cox's Bazar daily.
