Mosquito coil factory fire kills six in capital’s Khilkhet

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– At least six people were killed in a devastating fire at a mosquito coil factory in capital’s Khilkhet Friday night, police and firemen said.

The fire broke out at Good Night Mosquito Factory at 9-35pm (local time). Ten units of the Fire Brigade controlled the blaze at around 10:30 pm.

Fire Birgade Director General Brig Gen (retd) Abu Nayeem Mohammad Shahidullah reportedly confirmed the deaths of six people who are all factory workers.

Six seriously burn-wounded people have been admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, according to reports.
