MTB opens booth at Hajj Camp in Dhaka

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) has opened a booth at Hajj Camp at Ashkona in the capital Dhaka to facilitate the hajis recently. 
Md. Hashem Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director of MTB, inaugurated the booth through exchange of foreign currency for a hajj pilgrim, a press statement said.
AKM Shameem, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of MTB NRB Banking Division and Touhid Ahmed, Manager of MTB Uttara branch, Hajj pilgrims, among others, were present at the inauguration.
The booth offers an opportunity for the pilgrims to convert their local currency into Saudi Riyal and other foreign currencies at a special rate. The booth will remain open 7 days in a week and will continue providing this service during the whole month of Hajj. 
MTB, as part of its continuous efforts to bring banking service closer to the customers, is operating a booth with similar services at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka and will soon be opening another booth at Hazrat Shah Amanat Airport, Chittagong.
