Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - The national budget for fiscal year (FY) 2012-13 is likely to be placed in the National Parliament on June 7, Finance Minister AMA Muhith said on Sunday.
The minister disclosed this while speaking in a pre-budget discussion with the Economic Reporters Forum (ERF) at the conference room of his ministry at the Secretariat in the capital Dhaka.
Mr. Muhith said the budget would be passed in the House before June 30.
“June 30 falls on Friday. So, we’re planning to have the budget passed on June 28,” he said.
