Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The 27th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of National Life Insurance Company Limited was held at ``NLI TOWER" in capital Dhaka on Thursday.
The company approved 50 percent cash and 10 percent stock dividend to the shareholders for share of BDT 100 each.
Chairman Mahmudul Huq Taher presided over the meeting. Directors Tofazzal Hossain, Morshed Alam, Mostafizur Rahman, Humayun Kabir, Alhaj K. M. Habib Zaman, S.I Chowdhury, Shafiqur Rahman Titu and Haroon Patwary, Managing Director Jamal M A Naser were present at the meeting.
The attended shareholders thanked the board of directors for the achievement of the company, the insurance company said, adding that at the meeting the shareholders unanimously approved the accounts of 2011.
