NBL signs deal with Islamic Exchange Co.

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – National Bank Limited (NBL) signed an Agency Agreement with Islamic Exchange Co. WLL, Qatar on Sunday at its head office in the capital Dhaka.

Neaz Ahmed, Managing Director of National Bank Limited and Yousuf P. Hameed, General Manager of Islamic Exchange Co. WLL signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

Under the deal, Bangladeshi expatriates living in Qatar will be able to remit money electronically in a secured, prompt and efficient manner to Bangladesh.

Islamic Exchange Co. WLL, is a leading Money Transfer House of Qatar engaged in remittance business since 1985. They have agency agreement with many Banks of India, Pakistan & Sri Lanka. But NBL is the first Bank of Bangladesh to sign Agency Agreement with Islamic Exchange Co. WLL, Qatar.
