NBR extends tax return submission deadline till Nov 30

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has extended deadline to submit income tax returns until November 30 this year.
“This is the second and the last chance for the tax payers and that the deadline will end on November 30,” a NBR official said. “We’ll not extend the submission time beyond November 30.”
The first time extended deadline, from September 30 to November 2, was supposed to expire on Sunday.
Earlier on Saturday, the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), the country’s apex trade body, urged the government to further extend the deadline for submission of income tax returns to November 30.
