Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The National Credit and Commerce (NCC) Bank Limited enters into 17th years of operation on Sunday with a pledge to strengthen its role to promote the private sector-led economy of the country.

Chairman of the leading second generation private commercial bank Tofazzal Hossain announced the completion of its 16 years of operation in a press conference at the bank head office in Dhaka on Saturday.

“We’ll present our valued customers new products like Mutual Funds, Bonds and Debit Card,” the chairman said, adding that remittance and agriculture will be the thrust areas in the New Year.

The NCC Bank now operates with 58 online branches and has a plan to extend network by nine new branches this year, Managing Director of the bank Mohammed Nurul Amin said.

Vice Chairman ASM Mainuddin Monem, Deputy Managing Directors SM Shamsul Alam and Golam Hafiz Ahmed were present on the occasion.

The NCC Bank is a top broker in both Dhaka Stock Exchange and Chittagong Stock Exchange. The company began its journey in 1993 with 16 branches.
