Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Foreign Secretary of Nepal Durga Prasad Bhattarai will arrive in Dhaka on Monday on a two-day visit to discuss strengthening trade and commerce, connectivity and bilateral ties.
During the visit, Bhattarai will have bilateral meeting with his Bangladesh counterpart Mijarul Quayes at the Foreign Ministry tomorrow when the two sides are expected to discuss entire range of bilateral issues, officials said.
They said the two countries may sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Foreign Office Consultation (FOC), under which dialogue will be held at foreign secretary level annually.
Mr. Bhattarai joined Nepal Civil Service in September 1986 and was appointed as secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal on January 17 this year.
