New 50 Taka notes to be introduced on July 15

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Bangladesh Bank (BB), the country’s central bank, is going to introduce newly printed fifty taka bank notes on July 15.
The note bearing the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibor Rahman has a color mark of traditional ploughing instrument instead of exiting prominent artist Jainul Abedin on its back. 
Other security features would remain the same, a BB press statement said, adding that all exiting 50 taka notes will remain in circulation.
