Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Sazzadul Hassan has recently been appointed as the managing director of Syngenta Bangladesh Limited, a Switzerland-based agro-business company in Bangladesh.
Prior to the appointment, he was the general manager of Maersk Line, Syngenta said in a statement.
He joined Syngenta in 2009 as the head of marketing in Dhaka and moved to Singapore in 2011 as the regional pricing operations manager for the Asia pacific region.
Mr. Hassan did his graduation in statistics and masters in computer science from Dhaka University. He also obtained an MBA degree in marketing from the Institute of Business Administration under the same university.
He will replace Sarwar Ahmed who served the company for over 31 years.
