Newspaper holidays on December 16, 17

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – In accordance with the decision of the executive committee of Newspapers Owners’ Association of Bangladesh (NOAB), the members will observe December 16 as a holiday on account of Victory and National Day.

However, the NOAB members desirous of bringing out their publications may do so under special arrangement, a press statement said on Thursday.

The NOAB also decided to observe on Friday, December 17 a holiday on account of holy Ashura. Therefore, no newspaper will be published on Saturday, December 18.
