New Delhi, India (BBN)-The 50-share Nifty is likely to open on a flat note tracking subdued trading of Nifty seen on the Singapore Stock Exchange.
The SGX Nifty referred to as the Nifty which is traded on the Singapore Stock Exchange was trading 0.05 per cent higher at 8,366, reports NDTV.
Meanwhile, Asian shares fell in early trading on Tuesday, while the dollar held near highs scaled in holiday-thinned trading in the previous session.
European shares marked a weak finish in thin trade on Monday, with many markets in the region closed for holidays. U.S. markets were also closed for Memorial Day.
MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan was down 0.2 per cent in early trade, after eking out a late gain in the previous session.
Back home these shares will be in focus today:
TATA MOTORS: Tata Motors will be declaring its fourth quarter numbers later in the day. Analysts expect the company to post net profit of Rs 4,092 crore on revenues of Rs 66,551 crore compared to net profit of Rs 3,918 crore during the same period last financial year.
BANK OF INDIA: Bank of India will also come out with its numbers later in the day. The bank is likely to report profit of Rs 485 crore on net interest income of Rs 2,950 crore compared to Rs 557 crore last year.
TECH MAHINDRA: Tech Mahindra will announce its q4 numbers later in the day. The company is likely to report profit of Rs 724 crore on revenues of Rs 6,142 crore.
GMR INFRA: GMR Infra has acquired Malaysia airports stake in Delhi airport for $80 million.
