Nine-day art exhibition begins in Bangladesh’s capital

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- A nine-day long art exhibition titled ‘Magic of Lines’ began at Gallery Cosmos-2 in the capital Dhaka on Friday.
Swiss Ambassador to Bangladesh Urs Herren inaugurated the exhibition where 34 artworks of 16 young artists, drawn at a workshop recently conducted by celebrated artist Jamal Ahmed, have been put on display.
The participating artists are Afrozaa Jamil Konka, Anukul Majumdar, Bipasha Hayat, Buddha Dev Mondal, Farook Hossain, Goutam Chowdhury, Jamal Ahmed, Jamil Akbar Shamim, Kamaluddin, Kanak Kumar Pathak, Mahabub Alam, Asif Kabir Chowdhury, Ruhul Karim Rumi, Sadia Sultana Bony, Sohel Pranon and Sourav Chowdhury.
The exhibition, supported by Cosmos Group, Gallery Cosmos and Cosmos-Atelier71 Printmaking Studio, will remain open from 11 am to 8 pm every day till November 24.
